Administration
Administration and Management:- Government Women’s Polytechnic, GWP Muzaffarpur is a full-fledged Govt. Institution in the Deptt. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Bihar and is bound to function as such. However in Academic and related areas it has to be responsive and participants in the decisions and deliberations of All India Council for Technical Education and other apex bodies like Indian School for Technical Education, Technical Teachers Training Institutes etc. ensuring innovations in Pedagogical and practical aspects of Technical Education. The Administration and Management of the Institute are oriented to these ends too.
Though the Principal is the overall in-charge of all activities and movements of the Institute for smooth functioning and making administration work efficient the following service departments work each under a Professor of proven capability.

the essential concepts along with emergent developments in the chosen fields of study. Instilling
the mindset and measures for cultural and social upliftment, and contributing to the national
paradigm of collective responsibility in the path towards growth and prosperity.
Our Mission is to reach the unreached learners with high quality mentoring
and affordable higher education so as to transform them into successful professionals.
Our objectives is to offer affordably relevant contemporary programs of study on a large
scale making the region enriched in intellect and diversified in skills. Preserve faithfully
the nation's cultural riches and traditional values by thoughtfully offering adequate

This is a new branch which provides integration of Electronics engineering. The major thrust in this course is related to the basic principles and detailed analysis of equipments and systems for generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. The department is committed to engage in high quality research and pursuit of excellence in teaching. The faculty members of the department are actively involved in research and development in challenging areas of both theory and experiment. The labs established here have been well equipped with the latest equipment. Instructional laboratories for Basic Electronics, Analog Electronics and Digital Electronics are fully operational.
